MINNEAPOLIS – A mental health practitioner at the Minnesota Multicultural Counseling Clinic, Abdirahman Yonis, 35, of Bloomington, pleaded guilty in a $1.4 million Medicaid fraud case. Yonis and fellow crooks billed the government for services that were never provided. Yonis was among 18 people in the scheme, which involved a total of $5.4 million. Sixteen defendants have pleaded or been found guilty. Three have fled into hiding.
