TAYLOR, Wis. – Roger Allen Stevens, 83, of Taylor. the village president for many years, died unexpectedly at Gundersen hospital in La Crosse. He graduated from Taylor High School in 1957. He was in he U.S. Army four years, mostly in Germany. He operated a tavern in Alma Center and later, for 25 years, owned the Stevens Bar in Taylor. He also drove school buses, deliveried fuel ,and carryied nail. He was a Jackson County Board member many years.
