WINONA, Minn. – A dorm elevator stalled three feet above the third floor in the sky-scraping Sheehan dorm at Winona Sate University and trapped students inside during the dinner hour. Firefighters manually opened the rear elevator door. The hungry students crawled out. The university was advised to cut off power to the elevator until the repair company can dispatch a crew from Rochester.
