ARCADIA, Wis. – A fleet of 10 Ashley furniture trucks, in their distinctive black, gold and range livery, have returned home after a parade to deliver balsam wreathes at veterans cemeteries in 14 states. Ashley volunteers prepared the wreaths with bright red ribbons and tags for Remember the Fallen events. The retinue began in Maine and made stops in Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Washington and California. Events included a ceremony December 18 at Soldiers Walk in Ashley’s hometown of Arcadia with American Legion Post 17, community members, Boy Scouts and Ashley volunteers.
