WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Health CoVid vaccine clinic will open Thursday for walk-ins for anyone 65-plus. No appointment necessary, said chief executive Rachelle Schultz. The appointment-only arrangement had become problematic, Schultz said. It was taking about 30 phone calls to find someone eligible who had not already received the vaccine, she said. The walk-in service is for age-eligible Winona and Fillmore county people for their first injection. The clinic anticipates having 400 doses of the Pfizer vaccine. As of last week, Winona Health had administered 4,500 vaccines — 3,000 first doses and 1,500 second doses.

Not even a wince. Mary Rislove takes a Co-Vid vaccination.
