WINONA, Minn. – A Mindoro, Wisconsin, woman, Megan Ann Olson, 35, was arrested downtown in the 100 block of East Second Street on an outstanding warrant and referred for drug possession. Police were called to the Affinity Plus Credit Union drive-through, where there was an attempt to cash a stolen and forged check. Police said that Olson told them that a passenger in her car, Morgan Lynn Krambeer, 24, of West Salem, Wisconsin, was actually the one attempting to pass the check. While talking with the women, officers noticed a glass pipe commonly used for smoking meth in the center console. Both Olson and Krambeer were asked to step out of the vehicle. Olson told them that the pipe wasn’t hers but admitted to possessing some needles in baggies as well as three LSD hits, which she willingly handed over to police and was placed under arrest. During all this, about 10:40 a.m., police said that Krambeer was mostly uncooperative and gave several false names. Later a jailer identified Krambeer based on prior booking photos and tattoos. She eventually admitted to trying to pass the check and was referred for giving a false name to police, felony check forgery and possession of stolen property.

Olson. Charges include fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and theft.
