LACROSSE, Wis. – The criminal complaint accusing Timothy Neal Young of murder at a Third Street bar early Saturday leans heavily on surveillance video. The video purports to show Anthony Fimple, an employee of the LaCrosse Bierhaus, denying Young entry about 12:30 a.m. Ten to 15 minutes later Young pulled up in front of the bar in his black Chrysler 300, fetched a handgun from the trunk, walked up to Fimple and shot him in the head. Young then walked back to the car and sped off. About 15 minutes after the shooting, police in suburban Onalaska, about 10 miles away, found Young in a Walmart parking lot and made the arrest. The criminal complaint said Young made several excited utterances, among them: “I don’t care. Was worth it.” Also: “I might have over0reached a bit, but I had enough of his shit.” When looking at the surveillance video, according to the criminal complaint, police recognized Young from past encounters.
