WINONA, Minn. – The Ground Round restaurant, near the Highway 61 and Hghway14 intersection on the far West End, closed after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. “We have decided for the safety of our staff and guests to temporarily close,” sad owner Tim Beier. The last time this person worked was on Wednesday June 24, Beier said. Ground Round was the latest Winona eatery to close because an employee tested positive. Other recent closures for the same reason:
