WINONA, Minn. – In the past week 49 more Covid cases have been reported in Winona County, according to the state Health Department. The cases are a spike blamed on the Delta mutation of the Covid virus, to which unvaccinated people are especially susceptible. The new cases pushed the county’s pandemic total to 4,734. The pandemic death toll remains at 52, none from the recent cases.
