WINONA, Minn. – With Covid infections rising, the Winona County Health Department has scheduled vaccination clinics at Winona Health and at popup sites through August. The schedule:
> Parkview Clinic. Wednesdays 1-6 p.m. Also Fridays and Saturdays from 2-6 p.m.
> Farmers Market. Winona August 21
> Goodview Days. August 21.
> Gladiolus Days. St. Charles, August 22-29.
The county has recorded 47 new infections in the past two weeks — nearly triple to 9.3 compared to 3.36,two weeks earlier, county health supervisor Melanie Tatge said in a radio station KWNO interview.

About 99% of the Minnesota’s recent Covid-related deaths were among people without vaccination. Some 97% of Covid hospitalizations, also, were among unvaccinated people.
