LACOSSE, Wis. – A Mayo Clinic doctor pleaded not guilty to sexual contact with three girls under age 18. Even so, the judge determined there is probable cause for a pre-trial conference, which was scheduled for January. Meanwhile, Joseph Poteruca is free on $25,000 bond with conditions he doesn’t have any contact with anyone younger than 18 Poterucha, 40, of Rochester, is charged with three counts of first-degree child sexual assault in LaCrosse, although not at the LaCrosse Mayo facility. The criminal complaint alleges that in the most recent assault, in October, Poterucha threatened to harm the child if she reported it. The other two incidents reportedly occurred in 2019.
