WINONA, Minn. – Winona Health pediatricians are watching children closely for possible connections between the Covid virus and respiratory problems. In an interview on KWNO radio, Winona Health executive Rachelle Schultz said that some kids who tested positive for Covid and got through it then came down with asthma-like symptoms they’d never experienced before. It’s unknown whether there’s a connection or whether the respiratory  issues will be long term, Schultz said. Meanwhile, Winona Health continues to offer Covid vaccine to anyone 12 and older.
