WINONA, Minn. – Police released the name of the driver whose car slammed into a Far Wet End plumbing supply house early Tuesday. The name of Joseph E. Simmons, 39, of Winona had been withheld until his family could be found and notified. Simmons remained in serious condition Friday at Gundersen hospital in La Crosse.
