WINON A, Minn. – A Winona man, Wayne Aldis Gordon, 73, failed a sobriety test during a downtown traffic stop, deputies said. They said Gordon had been weaving over the centerline near Merchants Bank on East Third Street. This was about 10:10 p.m Judging from Gordon’s bloodshot and watery eyes, his slurred speech and the odor of alcohol, things didn’t seem right, deputies said. His next stop: Jail.
