WINONA, Minn. – The sale of the old YMCA at 207 Winona Street to Winona-based industrial supplier Fastenal has been completed, the company’s tax records show. The $950,000 proceeds will go to the Y’s capital fundraising campaign for the new $22 million Y at the east end if Lake Winona. The sale also helps pave the way for Fastenal to raze the 1950s Y for employee parking at its new office building, which is under way a block away on the riverfront.
