PRESTON, Minn. — Fillmore County pulled out of a three-county compact covering corrections and victim services and also other services. In a unanimous vote, the Fillmore County Board decided to go it alone and gain $100,000-plus a year. The decision left only Dodge and Olmsted counties in the joint-powers pact. Fillmore County had been receiving $314,000 from the state for its part in the agreement. Alone, the county expects $479,000.
