MONDOVI, Wis. – Fire destroyed an unoccupied rural house between Mondovi and Alma on County Road J. Nothing could be saved. The fire was reported about 2 p.m. Michael Schmidtknech, the Buffalo County sheriff, said the cause could not be determined. He asked for tips nd called the state fire marshal to investigate.
