WASHINGTON – Congress member Jim Hagedorn, R-Minnesota, who calls himself Mr. Conservative, voted as party leaders told him, casting a vote to allow Qanon darling Marjorie Taylor Greene to keep her House committee seats. Hagedorn was on the losing side in a 230-139 vote. The result: Greene was expelled from any meaningful role in Congress. Hagedorn called the vote the “latest step by Democrats to silence the 75 million Americans who supported President Trump.” Ahead of the vote, Greene tried to distance herself from a long record as a Qanon mouthpiece, including calls to assassinate progressive House members, On the House floor Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who had been targeted by Greene, said the issue is was whether “it is OK to hold an assault rifle next to members’ heads in a campaign ad, and incite death threats against them.” How the Minnesota delegation voted:
> MN1: Jim Hagedorn, Republican, southern Minnesota, for Greene
> MN2: Angie Craig, Democrat, south suburbs, against Greene.
> MN3: Dean Phillips, Democrat, western suburbs, against Greene.
> MN4: Betsy McCollum, Democrat, western suburbs, against Greene.
> MN5: Ilhan Omar, Democrat, Minneapolis, against Greene.
> MN6: Tom Emmer, Republican, northwest suburbs, for Greene.

Greene. Supporter of multiple baseless conspiracy theories, including a claim that Hillary Clinton was responsible for a series of murdersm that the Democratic Party elites were responsible for satanic child sex trafficking; that the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting was orchestrated by the government, that the Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida , was a “false flag” attack concocted by gun control advocates; that the Sandy Hook school massacre was staged, that President Barack Obama was secretly Muslim, that the September 11 attack on the Pentagon was fake, that deadly wildfires in California, were caused by Jewish-controlled “space solar generators.”
