OWATONNA, Minn. – An Owatonna man pleaded guilty to a 2020 murder in Manthy Park. Hassan Nur Hassan, 29, told the judge he was willing to accept 15 years in prison. The plea was to second-degree murder and first-degree assault. Hassan had been in a running argument on a July night. In the course of confrontations, according to witnesses, Hassan used brass knuckles to fist through a window of a car belonging to Mohamed Mohamed, 32. Hassan then chased Mohamed and knifed him. Mohammad died of one penetrating wound.
