WINONA, Minn. – The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, usually called LAGQ and known programs ranging from bluegrass to Bach, will perform Wednesday at the Beethoven Festival at Saint Mary’s University. The Saint Mary’s program was not detailed in advance, but the quartet’s current album, “New Renaissance,” blends originals and renaissance-inspired compositions by Dusan Bogdanovic and Ian Krouse. The Grammy nominated 2006 Telarc album “Latin” explores jazz and contemporary music. The Saint Mary’s peformance is 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $25.
