WINONA, Minn. – Winona Health is bracing for a serious Covid comeback. Employees were told in a staff message to get vaccinated. It’s a requirement, said Rachelle Schutz, chief executive. The only way around the requirement, Schultz said, is weekly Covid test with a positive outcome meaning quarantine. Noting the hospital’s limited bed and staff capacity, Shultz said that Winona Health can’t afford to have staff people out on quarantine.  The requirement is effective September 7.
