ORONOCO, Minn. – Fire destroyed a house near Oronoco overnight. No one was home. A firefighter was taken to a Rochester hospital with injuries thought to be minor. A passing driver reported smoke about 11 p.m. The house was engulfed in flames fire when crews arrived from Oronooo and Pine Island. The Oronoco crew used drop tanks to bring in water. The crews were on-site four hours.
Nothing left. The house was in an exurban Rochester residential neighborhood off 44th Avenue Northwest.
