WINONA, Minn. – Police arrested Andrew Curtis Montgomery, 23, of Winona, after an intruder broke into a A Belleview Street basement and who, when caught in an upstairs bedroom, pounded the owner, took a phone, and fled. This was about 4 a.m. The victim called police about 8:15 a.m. Police suspected Montgomery. By afternoon they located him in the 500 block of West Belleview Street and set up a perimeter. He was arrested and booked for burglary, for domestic assault causing fear and harm, for violating a domestic abuse no contact order, and for fleeing on foot.
