VIRGINIA, Minn. – Agents arrested a Virginia man on a felony probation violation but their target was drugs. In the man’s residence, agents said, were heroin and other drugs, firearms and $92,000 cash. Tyler Allen Lawrence, 22, was booked at the Duluth jail on the probation issue. Meanwhile, agents said they were sorting through items seized on the bust, including:
> 26 pounds of marijuana.
> 3.5 pounds of Psilocybin mushrooms.
> 12 grams of suspected heroin.
> 79 assorted ecstasy pills.
> 23 LSD doses.
> $92,000 in U.S. currency.
>Two firearms.
The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force executed the search warrant. Also involved in the investigation: The Arrowhead Regional Corrections office and the U.S. postal inspector’s office.
Lawrence. Held without bail.
