MINNEAPOLIS – A federal judge ruled that nothing unconstitutional occurred when FBI agents seized a cellphone from MyPillow executive Mike Lindell in a fast-food drive-through lane in Mankato in September 2022. “Multiple factors” justify the 80-page search warrant used to take the phone, said Judge Eric Tostrud. The judge also said the FBI can keep the phone in an ongoing investigation into damaged voting equipment in Colorado in the 2020 election. Lindell, it’s believed, was in contact with Colorado perpetrators after the voting mchine  damage was done, even though he himself was not involved. Lindell had wanted the 80-page search warrant for his phone unsealed, but Judge Tostrud said no. There is no practical way to order redactions without compromising the FBI investigation, the judge said.
