LACROSSE, Wis.— Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the convenience store giant Kwik Trip has slowed plans to build its largest store ever. The pandemic has created too many construction uncertainties, said Dax Connely, the company’s real estate manager. The company had planned to open he 20-pump, 10,000-square foot Generation 3 store at Mormon Coulee Road and Ward Avenue on the LaCrosse South End in 2021. Groundbreaking now is set for the spring of 2022.
