LACRSCENT, Minn. –  The school superintendent in Red Lake, Melinda Crowley, has been hired to head the LaCrescent-Hokah School District. There had been seven candidates. Crowley had been at Red Lake, north of Bemidji, since 2017. By one measure it’s a lateral career move. Red Lake’s enrollment 1,500. LaCrescent’s 1,200.
