ST. CLOUD, Minn. – An eight-hour stand-off between police and a bank robber ended after the bank manager made a dash for the door. He was the last of five hostages. Outside the door a tactical police team ushered the manager to safety. Police then took the robber into custody without incident. He was identified as Ray Reco McNeary, 35, of nearby suburban Waite Park. There were no serious injuries during the ordeal. During the stand-off, police had pieced together a profile on McNeary. Police Chief Blair Anderson said that police knew him well and that he had a long criminal history, including violence. No gun was found on McNeary, the chief said.
