CADOTT, Wis. – Sabotage was reported at the Cadott Junior and High School library, this occurring amid a request by some parents to remove books from circulation. It was unclear whether the sabotage was linked to parents’ objections. Superintendent Jenny Starck said two books had been intentionally damaged. Others, she said, were pushed to the back of shelves or intentionally moved to be harder to locate. Also, bookends were removed, causing books to fall off shelves. Signage to guide students to certain sections was moved or hidden. Starck said police have been called in. Security video is being reviewed, she said.
