SWEDESBORO, N.J. – About 121,000 pounds of ground beef packaged by Lakeside Refrigerated Service has been recalled after djstribution nationwide under. The contamination was discovered in routine testing by federal inspectors. The result can be diarrhea and vomiting, in cases prolonged. There also can be kidney failure, particularly in children under 5, older adults and persons with weakened immune systems. The recalled products were packaged from February 1, through April 8 mostly under the Thomas Farms band but also:

> Marketside Butcher.

> Nature’s Reserve.

> SEG.

> Tajima.

> Weis.

The beef was marketed in many forms: patties, tubes and bulk. Also beef-pork-veal meatloaf. Some was ultra- upscale Wagyu beef.
