CLEVELAND, Ohio – Mayo Clinic researchers reported a discovery that could lead to a test for determining who is at most risk of severe illness from the CoVid virus. In a scholarly article in the Journal of Human Molecular Genetics, Lingxin Zhang of Mayo, the lead author of the study, said that key human genomic signatures could explain why some people develop a severe illness and others experience only mild symptoms. The Journal is published out of Cleveland Clinic.
