RED WING, Minn. – The driver of a three-wheel Can-Am Spyder Roadster motorcycle was critically injured in a three-vehicle accident at the Far West End. Michael John Wallace, 66, Mendota Heights, was taken to a Rochester hospital with what the State Patrol described as life-threatening injuries. He was alone on the vehicle. The driver and passenger on the other cycle, DiIlon Harvey Vonrump, 30, of Waseca. and Alyson Vergil Vonrump, 28, of Waseca, were treated at the Red Wig hospital for non-life threatening injuries. They were on a 2020 Harley Davidson. The driver of the third vehicle, a 2002 Dodge caravan, Morris Lee Jones, 79, of Welch, was unhurt. The accident was about 12:30 p.m. The cycles collided southbound on Highway 61, the Dodge minivan on westbound on Aspen Avenue.
