WINONA, Minn. – General surgeon Colin Kennedy joined Winona Health to develop surgical robot services for rural patients. His studies at the University of Wisconsin med school included the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine. “My focus was on developing my knowledge and skills so I could take the best training back to a rural community and help take care of the people who live there,” he said. Kennedy also performs in-house general surgeries.
