WASHINGTON — Congress member Ron Kind, D-Wis., cosponsored a bipartisan bill to combat obesity by expanding Medicare options for treatment. Kind noted that 40% of Americans over 60 are medically obese and rank for high complications. Obesity, Kind said, is as the second leading cause of death in the United States.
