ROCHESTER, Minn. — A former Mayo Clinic employee inappropriately accessed the private health information of more than 1,600 patients. Mayo Clinic said the breach included names, demographic information, birth dates, medical tracking numbers, clinical notes and images but no payment information, bank account numbers or Social Security numbers. Mayo said that affected patients were being notified.
