ST. PAUL, Minn. – The $60 million rural broadband provisions in the state agriculture bill have gone to a bipartisan House-Senate conference committee to iron out details. Representative Gene Pelowski D-Winona, a committee member, expressed hope for the broadband orovisions. “This is the largest amount the House has ever passed forward,” Pelowski said in a KWNO radio interview. “For a bill that size, that is an achievement to have all of the members, Republican and Democrat, pass it.”
