ROCHESTER, Minn. – More than 700 people have signed a petition for school Superintendent Michael Munoz to resign because of “history of plagiarism persisting at least the past three years.” If Munoz doesn’t resign, the School Board should fire him, said former student David Jiang, who organized the petition. Two months Munoz was suspended for five days without pay for a plagiarized letter of gratitude to the Rochester schools staff. He acknowledged the plagiary and apologized. Since then, older examples that appear to be plagiarized. have surfaced.
