ROCHESTER,  Minn. – A University of Minnesota-Rochester student was placed on five years probation for a dormitory drug bust that uncovered drugs and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Ronald John Christenson, 20, had pleaded first-degree drug sales and a misdemeanor count of possessing a pistol without a permit in a public place. In exchange, another first-degree drug charge was dropped. So too was a gross misdemeanor weapons-related charge.
