MADISON, Wis. —A Melrose man was placed on probation for three years for his role in the violent mob attack on the U.S. Capitol in 2020. Joshua T. Munn, 25, had been at the Capitol with nis parents and siblings from Texas– all of whom were arrested based on videos inside the Capitol. The Munns originally pleaded not guilty in U.S federal court but reached a deal to plead guilty in exchange ro lighter charges. One Munn sister, Kayli, also received probation. Another sister, Kristi, received the same sentence plus 90 days of home confinement. The parents, Thomas and Dawn Munn, were sentenced to three years probation, 14 days of incarceration, 90 days of home confinement. Also, all were ordered to perform community service.
