ARCADIA,Wis. – Alfred George Schlesser, 89, of rural Glencoe near Arcadia, died at Gundersen Hospital in Whitehall. He graduated from Arcadia High School and continued farming the land where he grew up. His family said he was able to spend his final days in the house that he grew up in, watching the truckloads of crops being reaped in the fall harvest.
