WABASHA, Minn. – Carol A. (Breza) Wooden, 80, of Wabasha, a career nurse who spent her later career in geriatric nursing, died at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital. She was a 1958 graduate of Cotter High School and earned a 1962 degree at College of St. Teresa. She spent a year in Oklahoma with Extension Lay Volunteers. She lived 36 years in the Twin Cities. She earned a nursing master’s from the College of St. Catherine. In retirement in Wabasha, she was a reading buddy to the first-graders at St. Felix School and also a volunteering at Saint Elizabeth’s.
