WINONA, Minn. – Cora May Polachek, 98, a partner with her husband in Polachek Electric in Winona, died t United Hospital in St. Paul after a short illness. By training she was an actress. She was a civilian aviatrix during World War II. In the 70 years she lived in Winona, she was active as a Brownie leader, a Ladies Circle, an Eastern Star matron, a Toastmistresses member ,and in he Humane Society, the Parents of Cerebral Handicapped, and the Winona Little Theater.
