WINONA, Minn. – Gerald F. Brancich, 75, who moved to Winona in 1984 as a federal meat inspector, died at the Winona hospital. He graduated from Nashwauk High School in 1959. He graduated from the University of Minnesota as a veterinarian in 1966. He was a senior veterinary officer in the U.S. Air Force in Turkey. He established pet hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, in 1970. In Winona he belonged to the Amateur Radio Club and the Minnestoa Deer Hunters Association. A stroke in 2007, Jerry was left him paralyzed on the right side.
