INDEPENDENCE, Wis. – Joseph “Cool Cat” Bisek, 80, of Independence, a heavy equipment operator for Hoffman Construction, died at Gundersen hospital in La Crosse. He was active as a grade school baseball coach. He never missed an Independence High School basketball game since 1979.
