WINONA, Minn. – Josephine E Reed. of Winona, a music professor at the University of Chicago. died at age 79. She summered at Ely. She attended Winona High School and Carleton College. Her talents included the piano, pipe organ and guitar and a soprano voice. Friends said she made the best blueberry pies which she always shared.
