CHATFIELD, Minn. – LuVerne Frank Barth, 87, of Chatfield, who worked at IBM in Rochester for 31 years, retiring in 1991. died at home with cancer. He was a 1955 gradate of Spring Valley High School and lived on a farm in near Chatfield 60 years. He was an Army reservist for six years. He was the Saratoga Township clerk for many years. He served as a Winona County fire warden, was a St. Charles Moose lodge member, and was an eight-gallon blood donor at Mayo Clinic. He restored Allis-Chalmers D-15 tractors.
