WINONA, Minn. – Ronald J. Galewski, 88, of Winona, who operated the house construction company R.A. Galewski & Son with his father, died at a Mayo Clinic hospital in Rochester. He retired from Fowler &Hammer Construction as a superintendent in 1996. He was a graduate of Winona High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. He belonged to the Winona Historical Society. He was inducted the Winona Polish Hall of Fame in 2012. He wrote three books – on family, genealogy, on Kashubian history, and on settlement in the Winona area.
