RUSHFORD, Minn. – Virginia M. Arnold, 104, of Rushford, who grew up near St. Charles and was a waitress and grocery clerk, died at the Good Shepherd nursing home. During World War II she was a Civil Defense lookout volunteer. She arranged get-togethers for Bremmer Suites and was active in the Rushford utility cp-op. In later years she became intrigued to find her birth parents and leaned she was of Sandin and Warp lineage and definitely Scandinavian.
