WINONA, Minn. — A refrigerator burned up in an apartment kitchen in the 1400 Maplewood block of West Broadway. Firefighters pulled the unit from the wall and found arcing when the compressor was turned on. They ventilated the area. The unit was a goner. This was about 8:40 a.m.
