RUSHFORD, Minn. – Expect flaggers to slow traffic on 23 miles of State Highway 43 between Rushford and Mabel beginning Tuesday. State highway crews will be removing trees and brush. It’s winter project to avoid disturbing the nesting of endangered bats. A bigger project to repave the route begins in April.
